Parquet wood flooring was really okay, but the previous owners had had a water damage in the kitchen (living room – and thus the floor is adjacent to the kitchen without a doorstep, so something had to happen in both rooms). The water damage had caused them to have changed some of the floor, which meant that there was color difference. And it annoyed me to believe. So I wanted it painted.
There should probably be a few pieces and think “Oh no, I would have kept the parquet”, but believe me; it was not so nice in color anymore – had got a dull yellowish cut, so either it should have been sanded at some point or even painted. The floor paint I used is for wood and parquet wood flooring. It is really tough and so ranks incredibly long.
I got mixed a very light gray hue, which looks white when you see it, but if you look at the panels that are white, you can see that the floor is gray and not white. Super cool paint that I can only recommend. It is now almost 4 weeks since parquet wood flooring was painted and it can just hold it all. Acrylic paint, cacao and beetroot juice have both been wasted. Just to dry up. I like.
